We designed the pot for chain wax rather than adapting a kitchen appliance. Its thermostat stops at 115°C, below the point where wax scorches. You drop in a brick and dip the chain, and the wax stays in the pot instead of on your bench.
Connect Strava or Apple Health and Loom imports your rides automatically. It adds the distance to your chain, bike and wax, and sends a notification when one of them is due. You never have to log a ride by hand.
We ride in the heat and humidity of Asia and Oceania, but most chain wax is made for cooler places. So we made one for here. We named it after Thailand's world-renowned silk looms, which keep fine threads taut and running smoothly. That's what we want from a chain.
